I'm trying to create a DRDA Server definition to another database in the same instance as my federated database. I'm using DB2/NT Ver 7.2 fixpak 9 EE. I have managed to create the wrapper, but it keeps failing on my create server statement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Here is a copy my statements and the error I keep receiving.
CREATE WRAPPER DRDA;
CREATE SERVER SDWIS TYPE DB2/NT VERSION '7.2' WRAPPER DRDA OPTIONS (ADD NODE 'NRDEVL1', ADD DBNAME 'NRDSDWD1');
DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a
valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it returned:
SQL1019N The node name "NRDEVL1" specified in the command is not valid.
Both the federated database, 'NRDOPCD1', and the source database, 'NRDSDWD1', are cataloged in the same node of 'NRDEVL1.' This node is also the default node for that server.
