Hi.
I've just put on fixpak 10a for UDB 7.2 for NT, and am getting the following message when I try to connect to my mainframe and iSeries databases:
SQL5048N The release level of the database client is not
supported by the release level of the database
server.
Explanation: Database clients can only access database servers
with a release level which is in the range of one level lower
than the client to two levels higher than the client.
User Response: One or more of the following:
o Upgrade the client release level to fall within the range of
releases supported by the current server release level.
o Upgrade the server release level to a level supported by the
current client release level.
I've now tried uncataloging and recataloging my definitions, but, in the words of Jacques Cousteau, "still no fish!"
Can anyone shed any light on my dilemma?
Thanks.
