hello all--

after i catalog a node and database on a remote server, is there
anything special i have to do to be able to connect via tcp? i've given
the user connect to database privileges and can connect locally as this
user. the error code i get when i try to connect is SQL30081N reason
code 111. i disabled the firewall on the server box and used tcpdump
to verify that the connection was making it to the server. i have set
the port correctly in /etc/services on the client box, or specified the
correct one on a windows box. the server is running on rh7.3 and i've
tested on both a windows client and a linux client (running rh9
admitedly).

any suggestions appreciated.

thanks
steve shapero
