This question concerns DB2 V8 FixPak4 for LUW.
I've read that during an online backup of a long DMS tablespace, it is
locked (possibly with an S lock). However, I notice that while I'm
performing an online backup of that tablespace, I can still insert and view
CLOBS in one of its tables. Just what are the concurrency implications of
an online backup of a long tablespace?
