If the DB2 instance is not started, and the DAS is (with SCHED_ENABLE = ON)
then you will get this message (and probably about every 5 secs therafter).

Make sure your instance is started.

Subject: [DB2EUG] Invalid Handle

Dear list,

I posted this on a separate list and received no answer. Appreciate if you
can shed some light on this.

I know this does not give much info. It happens in the middle of nowhere.
When this happens, it is likely that DB2 failed to start.

The platform is W2K SP4 with DB2 WSE V8.1 FP2.
