Hello, Thanks to Dale for the tip... The answer is indeed that the other partitions need to know the TSM definitions via the DSMI_xxx variables, but the key is that they learn this via the "userprofile": file in the "sqllib" directory, which is executed from "db2profile" in the same directory. The TSM user guides discuss adding these definitions to the shell login ".profile" file, but I have yet to find a reference in any of the TSM guides that refer to adding them to the "userprofile" or "db2profile" files. Another tip: after adding the definitions, be sure to stop and restart the instance so that all of the partitions can be made aware of the new definitions. Thanks again for the help...
