Reproduced the issue by creating a new table with three entries, the first of
which was set to Number [NUMERIC]. Here's the detail from the SQL error message:

SQL Status: 37000
Error code: -16

Wrong data type: Field1 in statement [CREATE TABLE "Table1" ("Field1"
NUMERIC(646456993) NOT NULL IDENTITY]

Note: Reason for large length value above - Odd behavior was observed in the
Length Field which changed to 646456993 because I had originally selected OTHER
[OTHER]and then switched back to the Number [NUMERIC]at which time the length
value changed from 50 to 646456993.
