2005 -------
The problem was that setting of the ruler related properties changes the visual
area size of a document by design, trying to restore the visual area didn't get
success because of asyncronous mechanics in the layoutmanager and vcl. Thanks to
CD and SSA for fixes that allow now to control the size of the window
synchronously. Fixed.
