------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 10 13:58:37 -0800 2005 ------- In a Java program the "JDBC:" prefix is part of the supplied URL. So when I first tried to use the Database wizard I simply copied the URL from my existing working Java program. I was surprised it did not work, later I removed the "JDBC:" prefix, and it connected ok. I suggest that one of the following be done: (1) if the supplied URL has the "JDBC:" prefix, silently ignore it if the "JDBC" database option has been selected, else give a meaningful error message. (2) Automatically give a meaningful error message if the supplied URL has the "JDBC:" prefix when the "JDBC" database option has been selected. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
