Inspired by this I created and registered a new testdatabase directly under "C:\" instead of "C:\Mijn documenten\". In this last trial I could create a table and fill in records. I guess the blank in the folder name is not accepted? "Mijn documenten" is a standard folder created by Windows. Sorry, I cannot find this issue any more. It gave instructions about repair (unzip file, rename components, rezip)...
