I have a Access database with 40.000 lines and related tables and if I start a query with related tables OpenOffice needs 3-5 minutes on my 3 GHz P4 with 1GB RAM. On a 1,5 GHz AMD with 256 MB RAM and MS access it needs around 1-2 seconds. Even if I import the access table as native HSQL database it is slow slow slow slow slow...
