------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Nov 3 11:26:36 -0800 2006 ------- I'm connected to a MySQL database over ODBC. I have a date column in my database that is of the form YYYY-mm-dd. However, Base formats the date as mm/dd/yy even though my Windows preferences are to format dates as YYYY-mm-dd. I realize that most people in America write dates as mm/dd/yy, but this is a very foolish way to do it. OpenOffice should follow my system preferences (not to mention ISO standards).
