------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jun 11 17:48:27 +0000 2007 ------- Great news! I was only thinking of being put right for HSQLDB. Most other databases should have their own native ways of editing views. However, in theory, it shouldn't matter as the process should always be the same. 1) Query the database schema to acquire the view definition - this should be a CREATE VIEW statement. 2) Load this into the Design view dialog. 3) Save changes back with a DROP VIEW and a CREATE VIEW for the new definition. But I'm sure there is a big gulf between theory and practice. I see, for instance, that HSQLDB holds the view definitions in a pure text Script file while query definitions are in the contents.xml file. So best of luck! People like me with minimal coding ability really appreciate what you are doing. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
