Well, I intentionally accepted the duplication of strings (and potential of
inconsistencies later on) when I implemented this (which is a while ago, the
appearance in m2 is because there, a typo has been fixed). The reason is that
unifying this would in fact be expensive (though not too difficult).
The issue can be fixed when we rework our error handling/message system, having
a clearly defined pool of error conditions/messages used across all components.
This might take a while ... or this issue could serve as starting point for
implementing this.
