to reproduce:
- via File/New/Database, create a new .odb file, connecting to a "Text"
database. Use all the default settings in the wizard
- open the .odb file
- Edit / Database /Properties
=> note the "Field separator" is ;, while the "Thousands separator" is ,
- change the "Field separator" to , and the "Thousands separator" to ;
- close the dialog with OK
- re-open the dialog
=> both the Field and the Thousands separator are ; now
