I currently work on this, in the form as reflected in the new subject. That is,
choosing "Edit" for a view will bring up the usual query designer, when saving,
the view's underlying statement will be modified accordingly.
Since the way to retrieve the statement constituting a view is highly back-end
specific, this will be done for HSQLDB only at the moment. There will be a
generic infrastructure for this, so maybe other back-ends will be supported in
the future as well.
