First, the problem does not happen in this form anymore in SRC680m237, the most
recent developer snapshot. Instead, entering "Killdeer" and applying the filter
yields the expected result.
However, what still happens is that when switching to the form-based filter mode
a second time, the filter entered previously is not shown anymore.
I committed a fix for this (actually some kind of workaround for the concrete
situation, I need to submit a second issue to fix the deeper root cause, which
can still hit us in some other rare cases) to CWS dba24d.
