------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Nov 27 14:56:58 +0000 2007 ------- - install the attached extension. It registers a data source named "Mandatory By Extension". The configuration data for this registration is declared as "mandatory", that is, the respective configuration node cannot be removed. - Tools / Options / OpenOffice.org Base / Databases - select the "Mandatory By Extension" entry - press the "Delete" button - confirm the deletion when asked to do so - press OK in the options dialog - open the dialog, again => the just-deleted database is still there. Note 1: Until issue 84011 is fixed, OOo in fact crashs when trying to revoke a data source. Note 2: We should, in some way, display in the dialog if a data source cannot be revoked. Other items in the options dialog present some "locked" icon (a key, IIRC) besides read-only settings, perhaps we should use this icon, too. In every case, the "Delete" and "Edit" buttons should be disabled for such data sources. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
