------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jan 31 15:22:01 +0000 2008 ------- The Base Database Wizard dialog is a *suite* modal dialog. If it's open (and not dismissed), no other OpenOffice.org app can be started. To reproduce: sbase & Wait for the Database Wizard dialog to show up. Ignore it. scalc # or swriter, or... Actual Results: Nothing happens. No new window for Calc/Writer/etc. Expected Results: A new application window for the app I just started. Double-clicking a file or trying any other mechanism to start an OpenOffice.org program has the same result: nothing. If you return to the Database Wizard dialog and create/open a database, *then* a Calc/Writer/etc. window will be displayed. If you instead return to the Database Wizard dialog and Cancel, Calc/Writer/etc. is NOT displayed. This is quite counter-intuitive. A single dialog shouldn't prevent the starting of other applications within the suite. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
