Although the original issue was about the flex that ships with MacOSX 10.5,
which still does not work, I can verify that the fix in general works. As OJ
mentioned, Apple's flex assumes EOF to be 0 which is not the case (it should be
-1).
Would be cool if someone would come up with a very small input file that reveals
this error. We could file an issue to Apple then. OJ, FS, anybody ?
