------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Feb 20 21:50:04 +0000 2008 ------- Hi, Locks up = It does not respond, the XP window title bar says "not responding". By chance I left OO Base running and went to lunch. When I got back it had eventually showed the MYOB ODBC table contents, but then stopped responding again when trying to view the tables. Ver 2.0 is a bit more forgiving, but in the end they both eventually stop responding and I had to end the soffice process in task mananger. MSQuery in Excel and ACCESS are instant and crash proof so far. I have contacted the support people at MYOB and this is what they have come back with... " The interaction between OO and MYOB may be different as the ODBC driver is not just providing access to a relational database it is actually building a view. The MYOB datafile is not a relational database but a flat file c-tree database. It is the MYOB ODBC driver which then provides the MYOB datafile in a relational view, so depending on the tasks OO is performing, may be impacted by this aspect." I suspect that OO Base and the MYOB ODBC driver are not totally compatible, and it takes a very very long time to sort itself out.... Hope this helps. The MYOB software is downloadable from www.myob.com if the OO software engineers need to test it... --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
