------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Mar 19 00:28:03 +0000 2008 ------- This RFE is related to the discussion for Issue 87192. When the user selects to open the definition of a view for 'edit' there is a chance that the statement will be such that it can not be parsed by the query analyzer - but still a valid statement to the database engine. This would no be known to the Base application until the time the user requested to open the definition for 'Edit'. In this case instead of burdening the user with an error message the definition should be opened in SQL view, with escape processing disabled. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
