I found this under Win XP and it is consistently reproducable.

Open the attached bug doc.
Open the table designer for Table1
Add a new Column, "ID" as type Integer and set AutoValue = TRUE
Mark the ID field as the Primary Key
Save the new table design.

Error message is presented to user:
Error while saving table design

Attempt to drop the primary key in statement [ALTER TABLE
"Table1" ADD PRIMARY KEY ("ID" ) ]

click on OK

Now close the table designer - when asked if you want to save the changes
answer NO

Refresh the connection View > Refresh tables

Open Table1 for data entry. You will see that the ID field has been added and
it is the Primary Key for
the table.
