------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Mar 28 21:45:34 +0000 2008 ------- - (install the Sun Report Builder extension 1.0.2 from http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/reportdesign) - open the attached database document - open the contained report for editing - insert a new text box into the page header - in the property browser of this text box - change the "Data field" property to "NOW()", this way displaying the current date - change the "Formatting" property to the some "English (USA)" date format, e.g. "Friday, December 31, 1999" - execute the report => the date displays fine - go back to the report designer, change the "Formatting" property of the date box to a date format in another locale, e.g. "Freitag, 28. März 2008" for "German (Germany)" - execute the report => the date displays wrong, it still is the English date format It seems that you can never again change the format language/locale of this field, you need to re-create it. (I suppose this is true not only for date formats, but for other formats, too - but admittedly I didn't try this.) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
