You have. Unfortunately, you're slightly too late - you could have saved me
quite some time investigating user reports if you would have submitted this
yesterday :)
In other words: I was just recently able to reproduce the problem, which is
known as issue 88034 (you might want to add yourself to CC there). There already
is a fix, which aims for 2.4.1.
Nonetheless, thanks for this excellent bug description!
