I'm using Openoffice.org 2.4.0 on an ubuntu hardy system mainly. I was able to
reproduce the issue on Windows (v2.4.0), and the 3.0 beta.

First let me summarize the problem, then I'm going to explain the steps you can
reproduce on the attached sample database-document.

What I wanted to do:
- Prevent the main navigation bar to operate on the subform when a user focused
that subform (the subform is n:1 related to the parent form)
What I did:
- Setting the subform's "Navigation bar"- property to "Parent Form"

Expected behaviour:
- When a user is working on some data in the subform, this does not affect the
main record navigation bar at the bottom
Actual behaviour:
- The navigation bar indeed shows the right record number ("Record x of y")
coming from the parent form; however the "Previous/Next Record"-arrows seem to
still depend on the selected record in the subform - possibly hindering the user
to switch to the next/previous parent record

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the attached file
2. Open the "pr"-form in edit mode
3. Right Click on the Subform and choose "Form..."
4. Notice that in the "Data"-tab the "Navigation bar"-property is set to "Parent
Form"
5. Open the form normally
6. Use the navigation bar at the bottom to scroll through the records... works
okay so far
7. Now click in the subform and select one of
- the very first subrecord
- the very last subrecord
- one in between
8. Notice how the arrows in the bottom navigation bar change to be greyed out or
not, depending on the selected subrecord
