If you open the .odb files in 2.4 they print correctly there. Report writer installed is 1.0.4. If you have a database open at the same time as a document, and click focus to the document (Writer) and print that works correctly. So this issue seems isolated only in Base. It seems not to be getting to the point where the dialog appears and shows the pages being sent to the spooler.
