One of my team reported this string as untranslated. I enquired about it on the
[EMAIL PROTECTED] list, and Eike
Rathke said:

"That seems to originate from the database's JDBC driver in
connectivity/source/drivers/jdbc/JConnection.cxx, used as an SQL
exception message that then is displayed later.

There are actually quite a number of SQLException messages that are
hard-wired to English. There may be a reason for that, e.g. other layers
expecting it. Please check back with the Base team for details."

Although it may make sense from a development POV that this string comes from
some other source,
so isn't present in the GSI file for translation, from the user POV, it's a
message appearing
untranslated in the same dialogue with a translated message. It looks just like
all the other
"Component X is missing" error messages. Users expect it to be translated, and
when it isn't, they'll
report it as a bug.

Would it be difficult to add these strings to the rest of the database strings
being translated? If not,
would you please do that?

Then we can all translate them, and avoid time-wasting and possibly acrimonious
exchanges with
users.

Thankyou for your help. :)
