Hmm. I actually do not think that this is a limitation of HSQLDB, IIRC (this
needs to be checked), long varchar in HSQL is more than 64K.
Instead, I think that this is a limitation of the controls used in Base's UI.
fs->michaelstrobel: Can you please more more precise in what exactly is the
problem? "can't handle" is not really a useful bug description:
