The help information for AutoValue says the following:

"Choose if this field should contain AutoIncrement values.

You can not enter data in fields of this type. An intrinsic value will be
assigned to each new record automatically (resulting from the increment of the
previous record)."

However if you try to change the number in the field, in this case it was an ID
primary key it allows you to change it.
