can confirm the issue - it attemts to allocate a ridiulously high amount of
memory for some reason (4GB here) and thus crashes (PPC/Mac OSX 10.4 - 2GB RAM)
confirm and reassign to porting
I doubt it is related to issue 88987 - that issue was about not being able to
create a java VM at all, but Java still works, there's no problem in running the
Java/JavaScript/Beanshell macros and xslt based filters (that also use Java)
work as well.
As apparently only PPC systems are affected, very likely an endianess issue.
