------- Additional comments from [email protected] Tue Oct 27 10:25:37 +0000 2009 ------- I have created a form in Base, which holds a Table field. Inside this table field, I have a column setup which is of type Formatted Field. This formatted field has inconsistent highlighting behaviour, compared to an ordinary text field in the same table field, or any field type outside the table field. All fields by default automatically highlight the contents of the field when it gets the focus. The formatted field inside a table field by contrast will use that last highlighted state for that column. So if a cell in the formatted field column was last fully highlighted, the next cell to get the focus in this column will be fully highlighted. If the cursor was in position 3, it will be in position 3 again, if two digits were highlighted, 2 digits will be highlighted again. Apart from being inconsistent, this is also really counterproductive when lots of repetitive table actions are required. Note that I have been able to reproduce this issue on * CentOS 5.3 (OOo 2.3 with patches) * Mandriva 2009.1 (OOo 3.0.1) * Fedora 12beta (OOo 3.1.1) I have no idea if it happens on other OS's as well. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
