Checked using XP, OOo3.2 and DEV300m_72, MySQL connector 1.0.1
Using both embedded HSQL and MySQL5 data sources I could find no problem with a
field name starting with T$ - neither in the table create functions nor in the
query parser.
Given this and that it has been over a year since any action setting issue to
WORKSFORME
