------- Additional comments from [email protected] Thu Nov 4 15:57:13 +0000 2010 ------- I installed OO 3.2.1 under Win7, imported a .doc file, then an XLS file, and finally created a simple database to acquaint myself with the program. It contained just one table with the sample fields. I closed OO without closing the database (did not see the option) and when I tried to delete the database from the disk, I got a "file is used by another app" message. I reopened oo and opened Writer, then Database, and closed the database. The file was still tied up. I found a similar issue, but it was dismissed as not being a bug because the submitter had apparently not closed oo but just the database. Apparently Quickstarter leaves some processes of oo running, but it should release the file. The guidelines ask for attaching an offending file, but I do not see any way to do this on this page. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
