Here we go.... I have a long program that needs the above conversion. Indeed, the computer where this program used to run is now dead, and I had to rebuild the world. The bitter discovery is that postgresql and pgsql_perl5 no longer work. I read vaguely somewhere that Pg is dead, and has been replaced with DBD::Pg, which is not quite the same. Is there anybody in this list that had to go through the same nightmare? Could you please share a bit of wisdom before I enter into Hell-version-eight? It would be VERY MUCH appreciated.
