Sometimes I use Pine to compose emails. However, the client I use twice as often, as it is much easier to use, is Eudora 5.2. I suspect that the "problem" you are having is that Eudora does not hard-wrap paragraphs before sending emails. And I consider this a *good* thing. Any decent client can display the emails word wrapped, and they would wrap to the size of the viewing window or some other criteria, and they would also print to the full width of a page, and they are easier to edit afterwards. One advantage of the non-wrapping is that if you paste a long url or something that should be unbroken, it stays unbroken, and a recipient doesn't have to manually join the url back together so they can use it. One thing that I expressly avoid, though Eudora is capable of it, is rich text emails. You should never get any emails from me containing html or other markup. I even have a toolbar button that strips out any text formatting that may have snuck in before I send a message. Pine doesn't add formatting, but it also hard word wraps sent emails. I'll reply to your other comments in another email. -- Darren Duncan
