Do any other databases support array types?
     It seems, it's better to ask dbi-users... Only Oracle developers
seem to be interested in this topic in dev- list.

Can they be NULL?

        I think, the question is not of weather array types can be NULL
or not. If we step aside relational data model and SQL types we find many and 
many
others. They hardly conform to SQL model. And it seems to me, it would be better
to have their Perl usage way as close to the particular data source, as 
possible.
You don't have another choice, but to let the drivers decide how to present the
particular database API in perl.
