Dear,

I am trying to install DBI on my mandriva computer but this will not work. I
first get the following message:

*** Your LANG environment variable is set to 'en_US.UTF-8'
*** This is known to cause problems for some perl installations.
*** If you get test failures, please try again with LANG unset.
*** Please also email dbi-dev@perl.org and include the output of 'perl -V'

But even with the LANG variable unset, the installation fails. The output of
'perl -V' is:

perl -V
