Hi I am struggling to build the DBD-Oracle module on mandriva 2008.1.
It uses perl 5.10.0 and I get the following:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] DBD-Oracle-1.21]# make
cp Oracle.pm blib/lib/DBD/Oracle.pm
cp mkta.pl blib/lib/DBD/mkta.pl
cp oraperl.ph blib/lib/oraperl.ph
cp dbdimp.h blib/arch/auto/DBD/Oracle/dbdimp.h
cp ocitrace.h blib/arch/auto/DBD/Oracle/ocitrace.h
cp Oraperl.pm blib/lib/Oraperl.pm
cp Oracle.h blib/arch/auto/DBD/Oracle/Oracle.h
cp mk.pm blib/arch/auto/DBD/Oracle/mk.pm
cp lib/DBD/Oracle/GetInfo.pm blib/lib/DBD/Oracle/GetInfo.pm
/usr/bin/perl5.10.0 -p -e "s/~DRIVER~/Oracle/g"
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.10.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/auto/DBI/Driver.xst
Oracle.xsi
/usr/bin/perl5.10.0 /usr/lib/perl5/5.10.0/ExtUtils/xsubpp -typemap
/usr/lib/perl5/5.10.0/ExtUtils/typemap -typemap typemap Oracle.xs >
Oracle.xsc && mv Oracle.xsc Oracle.c
make: *** No rule to make target
`/usr/lib/perl5/5.10.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/CORE/EXTERN.h', needed by
`Oracle.o'. Stop.
Any help would be appreciated as google throws up nothing.
Depending on how Mandriva packages their Perl RPMs (or whatever gizmos they
use),
you may be required to install something like perl-devel or perl-libs.
