For the record, I've never had any ongoing support contract with any company for Perl DBI support. There have been a couple of occasions where the development of specific new features in DBI and DBD::Oracle were sponsored. (Things like swap_inner_handle in DBI and support for LOBs in DBD::Oracle.) The closest thing to an ongoing arrangement was with Oracle where they paid me some money to provide nominal support for DBD::Oracle. That lastest about a year, IIRC, and was a small sum for a small commitment. Tim.
