For the record, I've never had any ongoing support contract with any
company for Perl DBI support.

There have been a couple of occasions where the development of specific
new features in DBI and DBD::Oracle were sponsored. (Things like
swap_inner_handle in DBI and support for LOBs in DBD::Oracle.)

The closest thing to an ongoing arrangement was with Oracle where they
paid me some money to provide nominal support for DBD::Oracle.
That lastest about a year, IIRC, and was a small sum for a small commitment.

Tim.
