I hope so. But other problems might occur. Be careful. #tu.pl(attached file) seems to work correctly with "no utf8;" # But with "use utf8;", it will get no lines.
I am following this discussion as best I can (being fairly clueless when it comes to character sets). As far as I can tell DBD::CSV (or as Takanori points out, SQL::Statement) behaves more or less as expected. If there's something about the modules that would make them better suited for use with Japanese, I would be most willing to consider modifications (especially if there were volunteer co-authors :-)). But seriously, please do let me know if something needs changing.
