We are running an Oracle 8.1.7 on Solaris with perl
version 5.005_03 built for perl DBI Version 1.13 ,
DB-Oracle Version 1.06.
we will be moving to oracle 9.2.0.4 .
1) Will DBI Version 1.13 , DB-Oracle Version 1.06 work
with Oracle 9.2.0.4,If not what versions of DBI and
DBD are supported for Oracle 9.2.0.4 and Is there any
additional cost associated with these versions.
2) Do we need to recompile Perl to use Oracle 9i & If
so, do we need to recompile the entire perl
environment or only the DBI/DBD.
if any one of you have information on above problem
please let me know.
