Assuming you can get the Informix client libraries for the Mac then the
same setup should work remotely (Unless the Informix DB is not set up
for remote access)

Or you could go down the DBI::Proxy route.

Subject: Remote Access to Informix database

Hello All,

This is probably an faq but I have to ask. I have DBI and DBD::Informix
installed on a SUN workstation in another building. Works great, no
problems.

On my desk is a Mac running OSX 10.3.5. Can I create and run scripts on
my Mac that will access the Informix database?

Because of network issues, this might not work, but I am curious to
test it and see.

Thanks

Elton
