I'm running the following:
Win2k ActiveState Perl 5.6.1 DBI 1.28 DBD-Oracle 1.06 DBD-mysql 2.04
In order to utilize Win32-Printer, I need to upgrade to Perl 5.8. I've Googled and found nothing that really screams out to me as to why I would have any problems in doing so (and the DBI FAQ looks to be missing once again). However, the bulk of my Perl production are scripts utilizing DBI, so I figured it'd be better to be safe than sorry - I don't want to break anything in the process. I figure this would also be a good time to upgrade my DBI modules. Are there any caveats that I should look out for regarding ActiveState Perl 5.8 and the latest DBI modules?
