I installed mysql
mysql --version
mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.1.40, for pc-linux-gnu (i686) using readline
5.1
This is perl, v5.8.8 built for i386-linux-thread-multi
DBI v. 1.609
DBD::mysql v 4.013
When trying to connect to the database, Bugzilla's installation script
complains:
Checking for DBD-mysql (v4.00) ok: found v4.013

There was an error connecting to MySQL:
Undefined subroutine &DBD::mysql::db::_login called at

I can certainly connect to the database from command prompt using mysql
command. User name, password are correct.
This is on RedHat Linux.

Anyone has seen that before? What should I do to solve this?
