ABC has sold out to hypocrisy and cowardice. The media depends entirely
on our Constitution's guarantees of freedom of speech and expression.
ABC News Bans Flag Lapel Pins
Yesterday, the brass at ABC News issued orders forbidding reporters to
wear lapel pin American flags or other patriotic insignia. Their reasoning was
that ABC should remain neutral about 'causes'.
Since when is patriotism a "cause" to be discouraged? I urge you to
boycott and to protest to ABC and its sponsors and affiliates. ABC's edict is
another slow endangerment of everything our country stand for, and everything
our men and women fought and died to preserve.
