God does not command me to "love myself." That already comes naturally,
and is a big part of the reason why there is so much sin in the world.
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men
shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers,
disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy" (2nd Timothy 3:1-2).
Self love and self esteem leaves no room to love God or one's neighbor.
It is extremely unhealthy and dangerous.
