Hi: So glad Marvin is on the mend and getting stronger my prayers will be
with you for all concerned. Birds can be such loves. I had a zebra finch
who laid an egg in my hand actually so did my dove Noelle. Apparently they
don't do that unless they are real comfortable with you. It sounds like you
and Marvin have a lovely close bond.

Subject: {dbilg} I knew something was the matter.

I had just that maternal sense that something was the matter. Please, again,
pray for Marvin. The canker has tried to come back and attack his beak and
upper GI tract. We caught it this time and I think we'll have it nailed.
So, it's serious and we're believing for full recovery, but more than that,
please pray it never ever comes back to attack any part of his system again?
I opened up his beak which I do from time to time and it was all cheesy
looking inside. Poor baby. He's strong and getting bigger, so, I'm not
losing heart. Still, please pray for him to have a final cure and no
resurgence. I just want for him to have a good quality life is all. When
he's doing well, he is such a little love and I have never felt so much
fondness toward a bird before as I have this one. It surprises me. River
seems to be doing well after getting a bunch of sores up and down his legs
and back side. He's on the mend which is a relief. He has a new hair style
but everyone says it looks okay. So, that's good anyway.

Please also pray for us to stay aware of how clean Marvin's cage, carrier,
and other surfaces are, as his waste looks a lot like seeds to him and I
guess it's easily confused for real food. I think that's gross, but never
the less, we just have to be careful. We keep things clean, but I think
we're going to have to be hyper-vigilant, IE supervising his free time on
the floor and trailing after him to keep waste down. Either that, or it's
just hold him when he's out and keep him in the cage when he's not being
held. That would be terribly boring for him. He needs to be able to run and
fly free. We keep his cage clean and are constantly changing his paper as
well as cleaning out the bottom. It's perplexing why this darned canker
keeps coming back. I don't want to play with this. So, that's what we're
dealing with and I'm not complaining--just asking for prayer for healing for
this little precious creation of God's and Prayer for wisdom, etc, for us.

Lord,

I thank you for your animals that you have given us. I thank you for Marvin
and I thank you for his healing. Lord, I thank you that there will be no
more attack on Marvin or River's life with affliction for a year. Lord, I
know that there are trials in our lives, so I thank you that you have given
us the strength and hope to walk through them. Lord, I don't really want
trials for my animals, but I pray that you'll bring healing for both Marvin
and River. Please keep them out of and away from infections and sores of any
kind. Lord, your will be done, and your name be praised. Your word says "no
Weapon formed against you shall prosper," and I'm believing that for my
animals too. You have placed them under our care and I pray that they will
be protected from anymore pain, suffering and sickness From This September
to the following August. I ask that you please replace sickness with Health,
happiness and contentment. Thank you again Precious Lord. You're name be
praised and glorified. I give you these animals and your will be done in
their lives. I pray that they would be used to impact lives for your glory
too. Maybe they can help us start conversations about You, Lord. IN Jesus
Name. Amen.

I'm taking this bold step to show you all that I believe and Have faith that
God will hear me and answer me. I'm believing for His victory. so, those who
believe with me please join me.

Friends,

Seany
