Many memories of september, I do possess, The majority of them, have me basking in the glowing sunshine of golden happiness. In 1999, I was the Hadley student of the Year, Oh, that event really filled my heart with lots of mirth and cheer. To Chicago, we did fly, When I received my plaque, joy and smiles were dancing in my eye. In September 2004, Hometown Hero I was selected, Oh, my heart did dance and sing, when I was accepted. On the radio I did speak and my life I did relate, Oh, this was indeed a time to rejoice and to celebrate. In September of 2006, at home plate at Yankee stadium I did regally stand, With a Liberty Medal proudly held in my hand. Fifty four thousand fans did cheer and root for me, Oh, my soul was singing triumphantly. So, dear friends, these were the joyous events of September, All of the fond memories, I shall cherish and forever remember.
