Hi all, how are you doing, and what have you been up to? My week's going ok at university so far. Yesterday, I found out some good news. For one of our assignments we've got to write a programme in Java. Well guess what? I can do it in C#, a perhaps more accessible programming language! So I'm really happy about that. But boy, today was a busy one and I've mot long come back from my lecture and practical session, which was fun I must say. I decided to give the portable version of NVDA a try, and yes, it works. However, to start with, there was no sound coming from the machine I was using, so we had to get one of the technicians to fix that! Then when we tried to use a part of the university network where we access the software we need for our course, that wasn't accessible at all since it was using something to do with remote access! So I may comment about that to the technicians to see if they can come up with an alternative, like give us an option to download and install software from the network to our machines. For now though, I was able to use Notepad and participate slowly but surely. So that's it really. Hope you enjoy the account of my week so far, and enjoy the rest of yours. Thanks, and take care. Regards your friend.
